Furthermore, Skydd shall having knowledge of the occurrence of such breach, take steps to inform the Data Subject of the breach incident, the risk to the rights and freedoms of the Data Subject resulting from such breach, and any course of action to remedy said breach.

Any claim or dispute arising in relation to this Notice shall be resolved through amicable negotiation.
Where an amicable settlement by mutual discussion fails, the affected parties agree to resolve the pending dispute by instituting mediation proceedings at the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse (LMDC), If after a period of thirty (30) days following the commencement of mediation, the Parties are unable to resolve the dispute, either Party may submit the dispute for final determination by a court of competent jurisdiction. Each party shall bear the costs of the mediation proceedings and all disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Skydd shall not be liable for any breach or claim that does not arise directly from its services or website, or for any claim brought later than one (1) month from the date such a breach occurred.
